Where to Buy Sake

Where to Buy Sake

A continually updated and annotated list of sake shops in Europe.

Keep in mind that, while online shops can be a good opportunity to find bottles that are not otherwise available in your are, sake is best enjoyed fresh. Shipping, especially in summer, can have a negative influence on the quality of your sake. Support your local shops, and let them know what you like!

Because the sales volume of sake is still comparatively small, freshness can be an issue in some markets, where a bottle might sit in the shop for a year or more. Therefore, we have indicated which stores keep their bottles refrigerated.

Know a good shop that’s not on the list? Tell us!
